Polish Market and Deli

There is a Polish Market and Deli off 75 and Forest.  They carry really tasty meats, cheeses, lots of sweets, along with polish flour (can't beat it for making delicious and super thin crepes), tea, and a bunch of other things.  You can also sit down and order a hot meal or take some frozen pierogi's home with you.  Basically it's also a little restaurant.

For You, Taste of Poland (restaurant and deli)

The other day I visited For You, a Polish restaurant and deli located at 2301 N. Central Expwy for the first time.  There were four of us, and everyone ordered something different.  I have to say that I was most impressed with the meat croquettes with mushroom sauce (Krokiety w sosie grzybowym)... and at $6.95, they were even more impressive.

I looked around the net to see what other's had to say about it, and I have found nothing but positive reviews: "Came here on a whim, after reading the wonderful comments here. The decor is nice and clean, very modern without feeling obtrusive. The waitstaff is authentic Polish, and the service was outstanding. The food...ah, the food. I was on a date, so we went for the Taste of Poland Sampler, a mix plate including pierogis, Polish sausage cooked to perfection, stuffed cabbage with wild mushroom sauce, a traditional Polish sauerkraut stew, potato pancakes and dumplings, with a generous helping of fresh, crisp sauerkraut salad... Everything came out promptly, the service was great, the food was some of the best I've had in this area in awhile, and, all in all, it was a great experience - very highly recommended!"  I guess I'm not the only one found it a great little place to be.

On top of the great hot food experience, there is also a little tucked away section where you can purchase little things like bread, candy, or deli meat.  And let me tell you, Central Market has nothing on the deli meats here... and the prices are so good too... Bonus!
